Living in the Moving Liquid
Painting directly onto translucent PVC, the gestural marks are made purposely visible, only to then be confused and interrupted by the marks made on the reverse side of the work. That in itself is intriguing, a painting that has two sides. Two paintings that depending on light, can be viewed as separate works, or together as one. This overlapping, this turbulence, all brings the eye and the mind back to this concept of weather and of water, viewing the work as a fluid network of painted currents.
